Alaistair’s family had hired a rathere nice house in Dorking for a family weekend away including several generations and a mix of ages from young children to grandparents. 

I was hired on the recommendation of fellow magician Steve who had entertained them previously.

Liaising with Steve meant I could ensure that the tricks I did were different to what they had seen before and entertained them with a mix of parlour show and close up.

The bread trick went down particularly well and a good time was had by all.

Bit of a shame I had to drive back to Dorking in Surrey the next day to pick up my bag however… that’ll teach me not to leave things behind!
