Teachers Chris and Hannah had already been working together 3 years before Chris FINALLY plucked up the courage to ask Hannah out for a drink after work. He nearly fell off his chair when she said, “I thought you’d never ask” (there’s a moral here chaps – carpe diem). Her unexpected response has lead to drinks in many places across the world and in December 2017 Chris hatched a plot to whisk Hannah down to see the Lion King (Hannah is a Disney nut) and pop the question as a magical surprise.
Magician and Circus Skills performer Jay Rollins recommended Red Hat Magic and Smith and Wollensky was recommended as the venue. The managers were beyond helpful and (being romantics) were on hand to enjoy the moment and ensure that everything was not merely superb but perfect. Chris’ heart was pounding.
