When Janice booked me to entertain Brian for his 70th birthday as a birthday surprise  I have to admit I wasn’t expecting to be performing in a cafe at the back of a garden centre at the Glasshouse Cafe in Epsom, Surrey.  But that is, in many ways the nature of the job.  Sometimes it’s a luxury mansion and sometimes it’s not.

In many ways it doesn’t really matter – my job is to adapt to the people in front of me, each unique individual, and bind them into a party loving whole through magic, charm, and humour.  And that’s what I did.
