London Corporate Magician - Entertaining In Piccadilly

Almost within touching distance of the glittering Christmas window displays of Fortnum and Mason there is a currency exchange booth.  It has 3 or 4 tellers, an almost hidden door, and behind the door is a narrow staircase which leads to the offices of The Change Group, a massive company with offices in 37 countries.  I had been booked to entertain having been approached initially independently by someone who didn’t know me at all but then vouched for a staff member who had seen me at a birthday party.

The party was laid back, sandwiches, crisps, pizza, a quiz, speeches of appreciation of how well the team was doing, a pinata which was roundly thrashed and me.  Being in the basement meant anything that needed wi-fi was out (my tricks cover a wide range of genre’s, not just cards and some of it needs wi-fi) but there was still lots and lots  I could do with minds being read, things vanishing, transforming, reappearing (a signed banknote into a hard boiled egg) and personality readings combined with a prediction that always goes down well.

They want me back next year which is great.  I’m looking forward to it already.
